Moroccan Chicken Tagine with Dates and Cherry Tomatoes (2 Meals)
Tagine is the stew home to the North African cuisine. The word Tagine refers to a cone-shaped clay pot that holds a flavorful spiced stew for hours. After the stew is prepared, it is served over the quintessential fine-grained Moroccan couscous. In our recipe, we leave out the traditional cookware and use exotic ingredients to get a recipe made easy for home cooks. The dates in the Tagine create a sweet flavor balanced by the acidic cherry tomatoes prepared especially for a king.
